My Anchor Held – Mr. Stephen R. Harris an officer and a man of faith serving on the USS Pueblo shares his experience as a prisoner of war.
Mr. Harris is a deeply religious man and was an officer on board the USS Pueblo when it was brutally and illegally seized by the North Koreans on the high seas. It is his story that his strong religious beliefs helped him through the terrible ordeal of captivity from the animalistic KorComs. It is a great second viewpoint from someone who lived through what had to have been an impossible situation. Humorous in places, it’s an easy read, but tough to swallow for the non-believing type.
