DO YOU KNOW –
There are
more than 32,736 blind people who live in Michigan?
An additional 83,402 more are visually impaired cannot read print
even when wearing glasses.
Every person
who cannot read deserves equal access to all forms of print information
available to the general public.
THE SIGHT SEER RADIO broadcasting
station brings information to keep print disabled people in touch with
the world around them. It
is available on the Internet to patients in major hospitals, people at
home or in long-term rehab facilities
so they can
hear stories from local, state, national and international newspapers,
magazines and books to keep in touch.
In local
areas, i.e. Grand Rapids, Michigan and Kent County areas, The Sight Seer
can be heard on the radio.

Internet – by clicking on
the LOGO at the top of this section. Specially designed Internet radios
are available – no screen, no keyboard – a direct connection via D S L
provided by your local internet service.
